Having graduated from the University of Malta with a Masters in Accountancy, William embarked on his career with one of the Big 4 firms in Malta, gaining valuable experience in direct taxation. Transitioning to Fenlex in 2016, William expanded his focus to encompass VAT and payroll matters, where he now serves as Head of Tax.

Throughout his professional career, William has worked on a variety of engagements. William assists and advises corporate clients both from a domestic and international tax perspective, including through tax advisory projects and tax due diligence reports. From a private client perspective, William advises clients on personal tax matters, including residency and tax programmes.

His proficiency and expertise in indirect tax enables him to assist and advise clients on several complex VAT matters, giving him the opportunity to work with several other VAT advisors across the EU. He also advises clients on practical payroll solutions for payroll management, tailoring compensation packages to suit the role and designation of an employee.

William is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the MIT, the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA), the Institute of Financial Service Practitioners (IFSP) and the Malta Chamber. William also sits on the Domestic & Compliance sub-committee at the MIT, and on the tax sub-committee of the Malta Maritime Law Association (MMLA).
